Oncology
A scalable oncology platform built on centres of excellence
From market thesis to an operating platform managing the full cancer care pathway.
Digital health platforms
Forte Healthcare has designed and delivered digital platforms for oncology care and national-scale telemedicine. Each one is built the same way: clinically led, compliant with the law of the country it serves, and connected to the insurance system from the start.
Discuss a platformWhat we develop
Each model runs on the same architecture. What differs is the care pathway on top of it.
A platform that takes a patient from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up. A specialist panel reviews each case, treatment is coordinated across accredited centres, and travel, accommodation and family support are managed in one workflow.
A single front door for patients and providers, covering consultation, prescription, pharmacy, laboratory, records and home care, with programmes for chronic disease and mental health.
A licensed network that connects public and private hospitals, clinics and laboratories, so patients reach the right doctor and their records follow them across providers.
Step by step
Every platform follows the same path. Compliance and patient protection sit in the middle of it rather than at the end, because they shape the architecture and are far harder to add later.
1
Agree the care model, the users (patients, doctors, administrators, payers) and the services in scope for launch.
2
Design the platform, the data model and the integrations with hospital systems, laboratories, pharmacies and health information exchanges.
3
Build in consent, access control, encryption, audit trails and data location rules that match the country and, where relevant, GDPR.
4
Set up verification so that only physicians licensed in the patient's country or emirate can give a consultation.
5
Integrate insurance eligibility, pre-approval and claims, along with payment options for self-pay and sponsored patients.
6
Support launch, train users, monitor performance and clinical quality, and keep the platform current with regulation.
Platform technology
All three models run on the same five layers, from patient entry to compliance. The oncology model adds a virtual tumour board and care coordination. The national model adds multi-provider connectivity and shared clinical governance.
The oncology model adds a virtual tumour board and a care coordination workflow. One record follows the patient through eight stages, from first consultation to remote follow-up.
The telemedicine model connects government and private providers, laboratories, pharmacies and insurers through standard interfaces, with records exchanged through the health information exchange.
Compliance by design
Health data is among the most sensitive data there is, and telemedicine crosses borders easily. We design for six patient commitments and test them before any patient is onboarded.
Where the data of EU or UK residents is processed, the platform follows GDPR principles: a lawful basis for every use, data minimisation, purpose limits, retention rules, patient rights of access and correction, and breach notification. In the UAE the same design meets federal health-data law and the Dubai Health Authority's telehealth rules, including in-country storage. In other countries we configure the platform to the local regime.
The platform checks every consultation against the physician register for the patient's location before a doctor is offered.
Insurance integration
A telemedicine or care platform that cannot bill is a pilot, not a service. We integrate insurance into the patient journey so eligibility, approvals and claims happen in the background and the patient sees a clear price.
Care model, architecture, user journeys and a specification ready for build and procurement.
Patient rights, data protection and licensing controls mapped to the laws of the target country.
Hospital systems, laboratories, pharmacies, health information exchange and insurers.
Licence verification and jurisdiction rules for every consulting clinician.
Go-live support, staff training, clinical governance and a monitoring routine.

Telemedicine
